Geo Mag provides this planning and technical consulting alongside its drilling and measurement services, and its wave propagation resistivity tool allows geosteering in both water-based and oil-based mud once drilling starts, so the plan and the live formation data are read by the same team.

Propagation resistivity reads the formation around the bit in real time, so a lateral can be steered to stay in the target zone and casing points can be picked without waiting on a wireline run.
